WSOP: The short version
I’m out.
I lasted about 11 1/2 hours, which was good enough to beat about 1/2 the field, but still nowhere close to the money. I’m certainly not happy about busting out, but it was otherwise an incredible experience.
I had the unfortunate pleasure of being two to the left of Daniel Negreanu for all but two hands. He’s a very nice guy, an excellent player, and it was great to be at a table with him.
I’ll write about everything in a lot more detail later….

That’s a good first day showing — especially with an aggressive monster on your right. Can’t wait to hear all the stories.
I bet you crush teh next IPC you play.

Sorry about not latching onto the ring but hope you and the family had a great time. There is always next year.

How cool is that.

Way to go! Can’t wait to hear more about your experience of playing with “Kid Poker”. Sounds like you have a shot at being on ESPN when this thing gets televised. I am sure you will explain how you were busted and by who in WSOP: The Long Version.
