Blog happy
Why stop with one blog when you can have two for the price of one?
I thought I’d point out that there’s a blog on the FormSpring site to publicize new features and improvements to the service. If anyone was looking here to follow FormSpring, the blog there is now a better place to look. Some people already think my site’s boring enough without me adding post after post here about new features.
By the way, if you have a WordPress site and are looking to create a custom theme, I’d highly suggest reading this tutorial and downloading this stripped down theme. I spent way too much time trying to hack the default theme before I gave up, dug deeper, and found these two sites. They were extremely helpful.
If there are any entrepreneurial designers out there looking for a way to make a buck, I would bet money there are companies out there who want to integrate a blog with their main website. Porting an existing design into something like WordPress is a lot harder than it might sound at first. I would guess there are quite a few people willing to pay some good money for help doing so.

I have never used wordpress, was it difficult to seamlessly blend it into your formspring site?

Once I followed the tutorial above it was much easier. Even then there was a lot of hackery involved in getting it integrated with the site. Part of the difficulty is just that there are SO MANY css styles in the default layout and figuring them all out is a pain. But maybe that’s just me.
I think it’s the kind of thing that after you do two or three of them, you’d probably be able to crank them out pretty quickly.
